Arhicunoscutul in studiourile de productie soft de editare audio al celor de la Sony, Sound Forge, a atins in septembrie versiunea cu numarul 10.

Schimbarile aduse de Sony Sound Forge Pro 10 fata de versiunea anterioara nu sunt majore insa cateva dintre ele sunt notabile. Aliatul lui Sony din v.9, Izotope aduce in cel de-al zecelea Sound Forge convertorul / resamplerul – Izotope 64-Bit SRC si sistemul de dithering MBIT+. De asemenea, in loc de cele patru plugin-uri de la Izotope prezente in  Sound Forge 9 acum vor fi toate cele 6 ale developerului american.

Un alt update ce tine mai mult de practica este adaugarea direct in pachet a optiunii de ardere a cd-urilor in sistem disc-at-once (DAO), permitand astfel crearea de Red-Book-uri Standard Audio CD fara sa mai fie nevoie de folosirea vreunui soft auxiliar.

A fost extinsa lista formaturilor audio compatibile si editabile direct cu DLS, Sondfont 2 (cat de tarziu) si Gigastudio (si mai tarziu).

Pe langa toate cele de mai sus se mai adauga o interfata schimbata si mai ales ultra editabila.
